Codon Genomics is a knowledge intensive bioinformatics company based in Malaysia that constantly strives to fuse sound experimental approaches with Next Generation Sequencing technologies and robust bioinformatics analysis in answering biological questions. Every bioinformatics product and service is supported from experimental design to custom downstream data analysis. We are a group of molecular biologists and bioinformaticians who founded this company with a vision of providing comprehensive and efficient solutions to researchers specializing in molecular biology.

Our experience in molecular biology research led us to understand how a sound body of bioinformatics data can be the core of efficient research and it is that which fuels our passion for being an effective genomics research solution provider.

In order to do so, we have set up a system of bioinformatics solutions allowing researchers to meet their needs to build their genomics research. Our approach is to converge different disciplines with sound data analysis to make sense of biological questions and in doing so, help contribute to the building blocks of a more coherent and precise architecture of genomics and life.

Molecular Biologist

  • Our molecular biologists work closely with researchers (from graduate student to faculty and research institute staffs) to provide consultation on their research on high-throughput sequencing, including genomics, metagenomics, transcriptomics, and other big biological data.

Bioinformatician

  • Our bioinformaticians work hand in hand with molecular biologists to provide computational analysis to support researchers in term of genomics analysis, create custom pipelines and databases, as well as bioinformatics analysis tools.

Software Engineer

  • Our software engineers work closely with the life science team to develop applications, tools, softwares and databases to bridge the big gap between IT and biological sciences, realising the concept of “software as a service” (SaaS).
